Buying
|
- What we will take - through CK Polymers Ltd
we will take ALL of your plastic scrap/waste, reground
or compound. We guarantee not to cherry pick the best
items and will pay you a fair market price for all
of your plastic materials.
- Packaging of your waste - we can arrange
to supply FIBC's, metal cages, skips or trailers onto
your site for collection of your waste materials.
- Onsite processing - if you prefer we can arrange for on-site waste management. We can supply and operate balers, shredders and granulators on your site.
- Lead times - we realise that storage of waste
takes up valuable space and can be a health hazard
to your employees. Just give us 48 hours and we will
clear your site of any unwanted items.
- Peace of mind - all collections are weighbridged
at independent public facilities and weights are confirmed
to you in writing. We give you a fair market price
for your scrap, reground etc. and pay you for the
weight of materials received. (NB. we reserve the
right to make adjustments to the weighbridge weights
if on processing your scrap is found to contain extraneous
materials such as non-recyclable waste or large volumes
of water).
- Payment - our standard payment terms are 30 days from end of month of invoice and we guarantee to pay to these terms for any items purchased.

Selling
|
- What we sell - CK Polymers sell all
plastics types. Some will have been processed
through our own recycling facilities and some will
be traded on from other suppliers. If you are looking
for a parcel of a specific material, then please contact
us. We may not always have it in stock but we
deal with a wide range of plastics processors and
will be more than happy to source materials on your
behalf.
- Packaging - our materials are generally
packed in FIBC's (1 tonne big bags) but we can arrange
for alternative packaging types if you cannot handle
these.
- Storage - all of our materials are stored
at computerised warehouse and distribution facilities
so that we can offer our
customers the fastest possible delivery times on stock
items.

Other Information

- BPF Recycling Council - CK Polymers are a
member of the British Plastics Federation's Recycling Council. We work with the recycling council and other members to strive for continuous improvement in the plastic recycling industry
- Environment Agency - all of our sites that handle, store, buy or sell waste are registered accordingly with the Environment Agency.
- Transportation - similarly all of the haulage and waste companies we us to transport your waste materials are registered waste carriers.
