Granulation of rigid plastics at BinbrookAs part of the ongoing investment in and development of Ck Plastic Recycling, the first of a series of granulation systems has been installed and commisioned at Binbrook. The machine, a Blackfriars 62/60, began operation at the end of May 2009 and will be used to process rigid scrap plastics generated in the local area. As the regular sources of materials are developed it is expected that the machine will deliver up to 100 tons a month of quality regrind.With the technical services of the laboratory operating within the same site, all raw materials to be granulated will be checked prior to processing to ensure product of the highest quality is generated. The arrival of the granulation system compliments the baling operation of flexible plastic wastes that has been running successfully at Binbrook for several years. Return to News Listings Page... |
